Kayley Teich
As a child life assistant, I work within a combined Child Life and Therapeutic Recreation Department at an inpatient and outpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility. My responsibilities included providing developmentally appropriate activities to patients and siblings in both inpatient and outpatient playrooms and helping to support patients' clinical goals through play. During this experience I learned how to accommodate activities based on children’s physical, psychosocial, behavioral and cultural needs.
