I started my internship at Cool Kids Campaign in February 2017, and completed a total of 120 hours. As an intern, I coordinated parent drop-off nights and supported other programming. I wrote content for the Cool Kids Connections Newsletter.

Secret Life of Pets Parent Drop-Off Night

One of my main tasks at Cool Kids Campaign was planning Parent-Drop Off Nights. These are put together to allow parents a night off, and for a fun experience for the kids! The first one I planned was themed around the movie The Secret Life of Pets. We provided dinner, did crafts, face-paint and finally watched the movie.

Scooby-Doo Parent Drop-Off Night

The next parent-drop off night I planned was Scooby-Doo themed! I created a mystery scavenger hunt for the kids to catch the thief who stole the Scooby Snacks! After getting their Scooby Snacks back, we settled in to watch the Scooby-Doo movie. Click below to follow some of the clues!

Camp Counselor Guide

After Cool Kids Campaign's first experience with camp, they were trying to find ways to fill in the extra time between activities. I suggested creating this camp guide for counselors so they can fill in downtime. Below is the guide I created. Feel free to click on the image to flip through the guide!

Cool Kids Connection Article

In writing an article for the Cool Kids Connection, I got to combine my loves for dogs and cheering up children in hospitals! Click on button below if you would like to give it a read!

Team Sibs Game

This is a game I created for a sibling support night . I was tasked with creating a game to encourage emotional expression for two 13 year-old boys. Feel free to click on the images to enlarge them to view the game and game instructions!

Jersey Mike's Fundraising Event

Cool Kids Campaign was the local Jersey Mike's charity of choice on their Day of Giving. I got the opportunity to stand outside to educate customers about the organization and its mission.

These are some Thinking of You cards that are sent out monthly to some of the Cool Kids. I have been tasked with decorating the cards based on the Cool Kid's age and sending them out at the beginning of each month.
